How we write

We prioritize the official Steam listing, publisher announcements and developer diaries, and link the sources supporting each topic. Store access observations, developer design descriptions and historical test features are labelled separately. Search snippets and third-party reports can lead us to a source, but do not replace the source for availability or mechanics claims.

How updates work

DREADMOOR Guide maintains this publication under its existing site identity. We compare shared facts across topic pages, news links and search summaries when updating them. Published, substantively modified and source-checked dates are separate records. A failed request does not refresh a successful verification date; an unchanged recheck does not create a new modification date.

Media and independence

Official screenshots, creator videos and editorial illustrations have different labels. Inclusion of a source does not imply endorsement. Advertising, analytics, accounts and visitor submissions are disabled in this first edition.

Contact and corrections

For corrections, privacy questions or media-rights concerns, contact zplviewercontact@gmail.com with the page URL, disputed statement and supporting source or versioned evidence. We review the claim against its source, update affected summaries and links when warranted, and record substantive corrections in the editorial ledger. We cannot handle game purchases or grant access.

The game and this website

DREADMOOR is developed by Dream Dock and published by Digital Vortex Entertainment. DREADMOOR Guide is an independent fan publication. We organize official announcements into news, release information and topic guides; we are not part of either company and cannot grant game access, handle purchases or provide official support.

Editorial updates

The record below describes substantive changes to this website. It is separate from game news, developer patch notes and playtest announcements. A source check does not automatically change an article’s publication date. Corrections preserve useful historical context while directing readers to the current information.

What this guide has verified

Official-source guides explain what has been published. Release and access records state the date and conditions of store checks; an install button is evidence of a store offer, not proof of a completed download or working gameplay. News keeps its original event date alongside this site’s publication date. Privacy information explains local reading-list storage and optional video playback.

How future hands-on records will be documented

A tested guide will identify the game build, test date, platform, relevant settings and steps taken. Screenshots or recordings will be tied to observations, with repeated trials where a probability or performance claim needs them. Unexpected results and untested cases will be stated. This edition does not claim first-hand Demo playtesting.
